A Controllable Combat Pet is a power that summons a controllable ally to attack enemies, or sometimes boost or heal themselves or the player. Some have Custom Abilities that have a brief recharge time. There are four commands the player can use: Stay, Passive, Assist, Attack, as well as a button for their Custom Ability. There is also a button that makes them all disappear.

List of Controllable Pet powers[]

  • Air Elemental (Wind) - Summons an Air Elemental, which can attack with Storm Lash at Rank 1, can call down a Thunderstrike at rank 2, and both powers get an upgrade at rank 3 (the Storm Lash has a chance to Disorient, and the Thunderstrike knocks down the primary target). Its Custom Ability is Wind Burst, which damages close enemies and knocks them back.
  • Arctic Beast (Ice) - Summons an Arctic Beast, which can use a Frigid Bite and ice Spit at rank 1, Frost Breath at rank 2, and summon a Snow Storm at rank 3. Its custom ability is Freezing Form, which increases its damage, resistance to Cold damage, and Chills enemies that attack it.
  • Munitions Bots (Gadgeteering) - Summons two Munition Bots, which can shoot enemies with their attached miniguns at rank 1, and fire missiles and drop mines when killed at rank 2. Their Custom Ability is Turret Morph, which transforms them into immobile turrets that lower their damage resistance but enhance their firepower. The turrets can shoot missiles at rank 2, and have their range increased at rank 3. They can also be detonated with Detonator Switch, dealing Particle damage to foes.
  • Support Drones (Gadgeteering) - Summons two support drones, which heal a target with a Healing Beam at rank 1, heal targets in a line at rank 2, and in a sphere at rank 3. Their custom ability is Drone Transform, which turns them into drones that attack instead of heal. They fire Gravatic Bolts at rank 1, a Kinetic Beam that pushes back enemies at rank 2, and a Plasma Blast that lowers enemy damage resistance at rank 3. They can also be detonated with Detonator Switch, healing allies near them.
  • Attack Toys! (Gadgeteering) - Summons an Attack Toy, which will attack enemies with martial arts melee and produce two temporary duplicates at rank 1, can shoot enemies with a Mini Rocket Launcher and create an additional duplicate at rank 2, and the duplicates (of which the Attack Toy can produce one more) gain the ability to use rocket launchers at rank 3. Its Custom Ability is Frag Grenade, which makes it throw a grenade that damages and knocks back enemies. The Attack Toy and its duplicates can also be detonated with Detonator Switch, dealing Particle damage to foes.
  • Void Horror (Darkness) - Summons a Void Horror that claws and bites enemies, uses Void Lunge, can do additional DoT damage to the target, and does more damage to enemies affected by Fear at rank 1, makes its other attacks do more damage to targets with Fear at rank 2, and its DoT damage heals it at rank 3. Its Custom Ability is Void Eruption, which damages and repels close enemies.
  • Tyrannon's Familiar (Sorcery) - Summons a Tyrannon's Familiar that lunges, throws rocks at, and pummels enemies at rank 1, gains 10% additional resistance at rank 2, and a further 10% at rank 3. As it attacks enemies, it gains a Power Charge (up to 2 at rank 1, and an extra for each rank up, max 4), which are consumed by its Custom Ability, Power Siphon, giving its charges to the player and boosting their damage for each one.
  • Ritual of Ebon Summoning (Sorcery) - Summons a demon bound to a ritual circle (leaving it banishes it, unless you have a special advantage). It uses Fire Strike and Fireball (both of which can apply Clinging Flames) at rank 1, can summon a flaming blade and use Immolation at rank 2, and its blade becomes a stronger axe and it can use Pyre at rank 3.
  • Ritual of Radiant Summoning (Sorcery) - Summons a celestial being bound to a ritual circle (leaving it banishes it, unless you have a special advantage). It uses Rebuke that can both heal and damage (depending on the target), and use a radiant blade at rank 1, use Condemn at rank 2, and gains a healing aura at rank 3.
  • Ritual of Primal Summoning (Sorcery) - Summons a mystic animal bound to a ritual circle (leaving it banishes it, unless you have a special advantage). It can bite, summon lightning blasts, and use a damage boosting howl at rank 1, adapt to damage at rank 2, and grow bigger and stronger when at low health at rank 3.
  • Ritual of Arcane Summoning (Sorcery) - Summons a golem bound to a ritual circle (leaving it banishes it, unless you have a special advantage). It can use Force Eruption and punch targets at rank 1, fire eye beams at rank 2, and becomes tougher yet slower at rank 3.
  • Command Animals (Beastial Supernatural) - Summons a pair of animals that have high perception, bite and lunge at enemies, and apply Deadly Poison at rank 1, their bites inflict Bleeding at rank 2, and Shredded at rank 3. Their custom ability is Fury, boosting their speed and damage briefly.
