Maniacs are the leaders of a gang of the same name based out of Millennium City's West Side, the Maniacs. These individuals are primarily ranged combatants, possessing high tech beam weapons capable of both sustained and burst fire. They can be encountered alone or the company of other members of the gang. Due to their status they often lead fights against other West Side gangs, especially the New Purples and the Black Aces, who claim territory adjacent to that run by the Maniacs.
