In Champions Online, Travel Powers are abilities that allow players to move around much quicker than on foot. There are a wide variety of these in the game, allowing players to choose the travel powers that suit their character. You can obtain two travel powers, one at level 5 and another at level 35. Those listed below are the confirmed travel powers:


Confirmed Travel Powers

  • Flight - Grants the player the ability to soar through the skies unaided. This power accompanies almost all power sets.
  • Superspeed - This ability allows the player to run at high speeds on land. It is not known whether this allows players to run on water.
  • Teleport - Teleport allows the player to move from Point A to B without having to traverse the distance between. This is a very handy power when trying to run away from furious battles. When teleporting, the player dematerializes, but chooses his/her destination using a cloud of mist. For a few seconds after appearing at the destination, the player is still immaterial, so that the player may teleport again, if he/she so wishes to.

  • Fire Flight - The Fire Flight travel power gives the player enough mastery over fire to envelop his/her character in fire and plasma and to propel the player through the air, leaving a short but noticable trail of fire. This is the only power that is confirmed to have an aura-like substance around the player that can be customized.
  • Earth Flight - Earth Flight grants the player enough control over the earth to break off a chunk of it an use it as a board, on which they can move through the air. The object you fly on changes with where you activate the power, if you are falling and use it you actually fly on a small cloud-like formation.
  • Super Jump - Super Jump lets the player jump to extraordinary heights and distances. This power is a fun power to use, and can be used immediately the hero lands on the ground. It is known the player cannot jump again mid-air.
  • Acrobatics - Acrobatics give the player the skills of a highly developed acrobat. This gives them the ability to run fast (faster than an athelete, slower than that of Super Speed), jump high, long distances (akin to that of Rocket Boots), and to also do flips.
  • Hoverdisc - The Hoverdisk equips the player with a portable hoverdisk that allows the player to surf the skies.
  • Rocket Jump - Rocket Jump are gadgets that allow the player to jump around the environment using short range boots. It is almost as strong as the Super Jump and much stronger than acrobatics.
